Let’s enjoy reading picture books and encountering artworks.

All museum staff and participants will visit various places in the museum. Staff will always support you during the event, so please feel free to participate.

On July 17 (Wed.) from 3:30 p.m., there will be a “NPO Comekko”(※1) session to nurture children’s sign language (language) skills. ※1 Specified NPO: Sign Language Acquisition Research Institute
Children who can hear as well as those who cannot or have difficulty hearing are welcome to come!

*The exhibition will be held on July 17, September 4, and October 2 with different content than usual because the collection exhibition and auditorium are closed for maintenance and repairs.

  • Capacity: 5 pairs of 10 persons per session (advance application required *drawing lots will be held if there are too many applications)
  • Offered in Japanese language only
  • Participation fee: Free

  4. Name and age of infant or toddler (and age on the day of participation, if possible)

  8. Reason for participation (brief)
  9. Any support, consideration, or information you would like to share with us in advance
  10. How you obtained information about this event (our website, flyer, internet site name, social networking site type, etc.)
  11. Whether or not you would like to confirm any changes in content

*Please fill in the necessary information for all those who wish to attend. (We will not accept those who do not notify us in advance of their participation on the day of the event.
*Please note that it is not possible to apply for more than one session on a single postcard in the order in which you wish to participate. If you wish to participate in more than one session, please apply for them on separate postcards.
*If there are too many applicants, a drawing will be held and the result will be announced at a later date.

・In the exhibition room on the B3 floor, there are slightly louder sounds and the artist’s naked self-portrait and video works are on display.
・The temperature in the exhibition rooms is kept constant to maintain the condition of the works. Visitors are advised to wear adjustable clothing as they may feel cold.
