Why don’t you and your children go to a cool museum during summer vacation?
Following “NMAO Family☆Hour!“ which was very popular last year, we will again offer a day for visitors with babies and children to view the exhibition without any hesitation.
You can talk with your family and friends, and even if your baby cries, it’s OK.
Of course, strollers are welcome. We also have a nursing room and a kids room.
Please come and relax with your baby or small child.
This year’s program, “Art Tour Series Special” (August 24 and 25; advance reservations required) will be held at the same time for parents and children to enjoy together. We are waiting for you with a variety of activities!

The Activity Book
The “Activity Book” introduces 30 types of activities that encourage children to appreciate artworks/exhibitions from various perspectives and to enjoy and discover the museum itself. Children can choose the activities they wish to engage in.
・Target: Elementary to high school students
・Offered in Japanese language only
Discover the Whole Art Museum Sheet
This sheet allows children to discover the hidden charms of the National Museum of Art, Osaka.
Visitors can tour both inside and outside of the building, deciding where to go by rock-paper-scissors.
As you progress one after the other like a game of Sugoroku, before you know it, you will come into contact with the museum’s many secrets.
Whether you are new to the museum, a regular visitor, or a young child, everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
